With an open, excited heart, I welcome you to Kali’s Gift, a novel I wrote when I lived in Australia.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Nya Gregor Fleron, I was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. From when I was little I remember being in love with English, the language and the people. As I grew up, the attraction only grew and I found myself traveling to English speaking countries, studying English, living in English speaking countries and eventually choosing to only write in English.
It is a strange journey I find myself on, but wonderful and magical too. Most of my life, I have been following my heart, playfully walking through life, facing challenges with trust and awareness. I do a lot of things in life, or in other words, I have acquired many different skills, and am not dependent on one trade; nevertheless, it is still my intent to not let any of it define me, as my spiritual journey is about being free.
Coming back to language, one of the things I can do is write. I wrote since I was a kid. At first it was my own personal therapy, then it turned into a way for me to share my heart. To me writing has always been personal and a way to access my creative force, so I have decided to make this website personal too in every way possible! It takes courage to keep your heart open in our world, because there is a trend in our society to close it and live life from a place of fear. It is very subtle this tendency and for the most part most of us are not even aware of how the fears fill up inside, unexpressed and slowly shutting us away from experiencing real intimacy, love, sense of community, joy of life in ourselves and with others. Yes, it takes courage, but only a little bit and some willingness to free ourselves from our own detrimental, emotional strategies and neuroses. Every day we have the opportunity to open our heart a little more and experience that we will be okay. The universe is not a hostile place to be, it is inherently wanting to take care of itself, and we are part of that and co-creating that reality.
I have always chosen to live from my heart and so far I have been given 43 years; I have seen fantastic and amazing places, and I have met wonderful and magnificent people whom seem to have enjoyed partaking in my life some of the way. I have shared my heart every step of the way, and every step of the way I have felt safe. There have been moments when my heart’s health has been challenged, so I am grateful I have had the courage to change course and rewrite my story, my journey when necessary.
Kali’s Gift is fiction; nevertheless, it is still a sharing of my heart stories, playing with the dream metaphors of life. Remember as we are part of the divine, there is a god and goddess in all of us. And magic is real, we are the co-creators of our world, our existence. It is our responsibility to become aware and excited about this!
Kali’s Gift is a timeless tale of love and spirituality, set in the desert land of Perth, Australia. A well-educated and enigmatic couple who have lived a reclusive life for many years invite a young woman artist named Lalita into their home and life. Though clearly independent in her expression and personality, Lalita is unknowingly thrown into a strange world of magic and meditation, love and alchemy, where she is destined to be profoundly transformed and in turn to transform the people around
her. In the alembic of this story, you will find an alchemical composition of mysticism, dreams, transformational art, love triangles, ecstatic and astral awakenings and entanglements of magical and spiritual proportions that may astound you or at least captivate your heart and mind.
I hope you enjoy the story.
