There Is No Reason for Your Heart to Close

love wisdom of the heart your heart knows better

When I first met you, you were inspired to open your heart. And you did. You opened it up and I let you in.

Then after a little while, you let your fears close your heart. You can blame it on my faults, on your medicine, on the evil spirit that hangs around you or that you haven’t yet learned to love unconditionally, but really in the end you let your fears close your heart. You made the choice.

The truth is your heart can always be open. There is absolutely no reason for it to be closed. YOU have to insist on opening it. Every minute of the day, you have a choice to keep it open or to close it. By hiding behind your rationality and your ‘reasons’, you are still avoiding practicing keeping your heart open. When it happens, it happens here and now, by you insisting on it, it is not something you will learn one day in the future. Your heart knows what to do already, when you don’t let the fears get the best of you. I know, I have lived both ways.

So I tell you, there are no reasons for your heart to close, absolutely none.
