I'm interested in those moments, when people are most open, when their guards are totally down. Those moments occur most commonly when people first meet one another. You see, nothing has been established between the two yet, no boundaries are laid down and their hearts are potentially open as there is no sense of the prospect of loss.
In the beginning of any type of relationship the mind is adventurous and curious and inclined to let go of perceptions that restrict; some times just one moment is enough for the heart's wisdom to take over and assist opening that innate connection within. And in that instant, magic is a possibility or in other words, the prospect of anything happening is possible; which gives us courage to having an experience of intimacy and vulnerability, even if that goes against our usual emotional strategies. Succinctly, we are able to set ourselves free and experience an amazing state of happiness and connection with something that is greater than ourselves. In this movement, if you like; in this inner as well as outer experience, we are truly free.

"There are three gates of liberation if you like, three cities much like the ones associated with the Goddess you have been named after that unites the chemistry experiment: the material, astral and causal. You get a chance to mix those together in your alembic and boom a wedding of chemical proportions is what we are looking at."
"By impulse, she looked above her. On the branches of the peppermint tree, birds had gathered. In the invisible spaces that she could see when she called herself back to the state she had been in at Helena’s house, she saw beings smiling to her. They had gathered around Kama and Lalita, wherever there was space. She could see their faces at the very back of the garden, where the star jasmine spread its stems. With the sound of the birds above and the earth vibrating underneath, she knew they all urged her to let go, to feel the earth and sky sing to her, to let her take in the glory of it all."
